Achajour [ach(k)-a-jour: ach / achk – eye, jour – water] stands for source of water. The Mineral Waterfall and the Mineral Dry River located on the east side of the café remind of logical sequence of the nature exposing all its superiority.
There is a village called Achajour in Tavoush region (North of Armenia), 17 kilometers to north from town Ijevan. The Makaravank monastery complex built in the 10-11th centuries is located by the village.
Being a constituent of Lovers’ Park Yerevan , Achajour has its own standards: to serve exceptionally fresh, home-produced and natural food, prepared by the staff, as well as to bring the pollution of the environment to minimum possible extent. Achajour Café and Lovers’ Park Yerevan intend to be one of the most beloved locations for residents of Yerevan and guests with their active cultural atmosphere.
The food, prepared at Achajour Café , is made of homemade natural products.
We don’t provide our customers with everything since…
The idea of having fresh food of high quality is more important than “we always have everything”. So if we can’t provide You with anything at the moment, please be informed that the only reason for that is our desire to serve solely fresh food.
Spending 1,000 AMD is equal to providing monthly expenses of 1 sq m green area.
* Reference - Total territory of the park is 16,000 sq m. :)
The Café intends to devote its whole profit to Lovers’ Park Yerevan to cover some part of its maintenance expenses.
Picnic on the grass
Being concerned with the environmental problem, the Café serves with disposable dishes. Its main idea is that one can enjoy the drink or food bought at the Café in the whole territory of the park – sitting on the bench, lying on the grass, in the amphitheater during various performances.
The carriers of the ideas put in the essence of the Achajour Café are first of all the employees. They are:
- peaceful as the lake of the Park;
- accurate and disciplined as the gates of the Park;
- they smile as the boulders climbing up the hills;
- well-groomed and neat as the grass of the Park;
- they love each other since everybody in the Park love each other;
- Each of them realizes that he/she works for the best cafe of Yerevan’s best Park, and they are the best among all the other best ones.
The employees of the Café shall:
- Be kind and smiling both with the customers and with their colleagues;
- Be thankful to the customers for choosing Achajour Café and thankful to their colleagues for the trust and support that they give to each other;
- Must be dressed neatly and must do their best to maintain the rules of hygiene and cleanliness;
- Must be in the workplace at least 15 minutes prior to their work shift;
- The employee shall understand that he/she is a member of a team where each one is important and if necessary, he/she shall assist and replace the others not going beyond his/her commissions and not breaching the rank classification of the Café's management.
The employees of the Café are not permitted:
- to smoke at the working place;
- to use alcoholic beverages (even before the shift);
- to drink, to eat or to chew anything while at the workplace;
- to use mobile phones during the working hours;
- to do anything else during the working hours;
- to be late from work;
- to lie, to steal, to misrepresent facts;
- to ignore the instruction, observation or penalty of the superior;
- to be rude to the colleagues, clients, and visitors of the park;
- to react with delay to the demands of the clients, to be careless or inattentive towards them.
These rules are binding for the employees of the Achajour Café but are not limited by the aforesaid. They also shall observe the rules working at the Lovers Park Yerevan as well as the generally adopted norms of social cohabitation.
The employees of the Company bear the material losses caused to the Company not for enrichment of the Company but in order not to repeat the same error. Understanding all this we aspire to the realization of our ambitious programs.
